Amelia’s “I scream for Ice-cream and Fairy Floss” Party Editorial

You’re all invited to attend Amelia’s fun-fetti bright and happy 4th Birthday! When our little “intern” Amelia turned 4, we knew we had to give her the party she’s always dreamed of! The theme was ice cream and fairy floss – because let’s admit it – the little girl in all of us loves those delicious and naughty (for the hip and thighs!) little treats. If you’re feeling like being a sweet tooth today, let us bring the party to you!

Inspired by the Neon Ice-cream light from Electric Confetti, our Pinterest board was going crazy, pinning the cutest and most adorable little set ups. We wanted Amelia to feel like it was her own little ice cream parlour where she got to treat her cute little besties. Of course with Pink being Amelia’s favourite colour, we knew we had to heavily increase it – but with our own agenda – also wanting to showcase the new Pantone colour of the year – “Ultra violet”. And it wouldn’t be an OIP styled party without a bit of sparkle so silver glitter had to be thrown in too.

Kats Flowers supplied one of the best carts we’ve seen around Melbourne, which was the perfect setting for the Balloon Garland from Burnt Butter. On the menu for the day was only two things: Ice cream and fairy floss! TwelfthletterL provided us the matching letter board to display what was on for the day. Burnt Butter also made all of the desserts on the cart to match this agenda: Both of Amelia’s impressive Birthday cakes, the ice-cream cookies, the ice cream cone cake pops, and the delicious cupcakes!

The desserts on the cart all sat on cake stands and acrylic risers also from Burnt Butter and the cupcake toppers and cake topper was supplied by Whimsy Chuffed, who also very cleverly made the signage above the desserts.

Below the dessert cart shelves lived the fairy floss made by Under the Cotton Tree in strawberry and bubblegum flavour, packaged with customised stickers designed by Alpine Events Co. There was also some amazing popsicles that matched them from Popstic Ice Cream. It was safe to say that the dessert cart was a popular spot on the day!

Alpine Events Co. also designed the invitations, placemats, and children’s name cards all to match the very fun theme which tied in perfectly with the party-ware from Burnt Butter. The children had fun mingling and eating on their tables and chairs supplied by Little Chair, who had the most modern selection of ghost chairs to rent.

We hope you had a blast today joining us for Amelia’s 4th Birthday! We wish her many more years of creative and fun parties to come!
