High Tea Par-Tea

HIGH TEA SOCIETY

With all the buzz from the Royal Wedding over the weekend, we had to pay tribute to the event, in our own way of being "British" for the day. What a better excuse for us to get our "OIP" on and incorporate our flavour into a High Tea Editorial. With the creative concept being heavily focused on our ridiculously gorgeous colour palette, even Prince Harry wouldn't shy away at whispering "You're Amazing" as we help you lift the veil on this setup. With an exclusive invitation to our High Tea soirée, three lavish ladies, Nikki Pash of States of Style, Franki Mazzeo of Franki Loves Zara and Chelsea Fenech attended in the most glorious fashion. The wow factor was brought to you by the grand mint balloon garland from Boutique Balloons Melbourne, intertwined with the melodious hues in florals and the wondrous hedge wall from Botanics of Melbourne, matching to our creative concept flawlessly. Hand-painted floral floor decals and a custom hand painted laser-cut wood sign, reading "Ready to Par-tea!" from Embar Designs added that extra feminine soft touch. Also featuring in this editorial, in typical OIP style was the furniture from Cobra Cane, a collation of peacock chairs and tables to match. The contrast of classic and modern meshed perfectly to bring our vision to life. Let's not forget our leading ladies though, Franki and Chelsea were pampered and primed by Rae Hairstylist on hair and Stephanie J MUA on makeup, whereas Nikki had that pleasure of being pampered by Skye Drake MUA. Dress to always impress, it was only fitting to dress the ladies in Karen Millen, a London based brand (Well cause - Royal Wedding?!) and Edward Meller pumps for each of them, from pom-pom fluffiness to classic bronzed sandal heels. And Tania Claire Australia provided the beautiful handmade jewellery designed and flown in from Perth just for the ladies. The stunning venue and catering were thanks to Mary Eats Cake in Brunswick (they also have a Montrose venue!) who knows how to throw a high tea party! It wouldn't be high tea without speciality brewed teas, and desserts and ribbon sandwiches to even tickle the taste of the British Monarchs. With the sweetest addition from A.T Bakes who created custom lollipops with edible flowers - absolute perfection! Surrounding the delectable food, was the exquisitely designed stationery, that consisted of placemats and the pop-out flower menus designed and printed by Elk Prints. When it's all said and done, we had a splendid time par-tea-ing with the crew for this shoot and hope we inspired you all to use this gorgeous theme and colours in your future events. Have a lovely day fantasizing about your future Disney fairytale wedding just like Meghan Markle's (or now known as The Duchess of Sussex!) Cheerio for now!
