TOM FORD The man who resurrected Gucci and revived YSL, Tom Ford branched out on his own and is a name that needs no introduction. This year, invitations came along with his new fragrance “F-CKING FABULOUS”, thus you just knew that his show was going to be a hit! Renowned for his clean-cut tailored suits, Tom Ford has introduced a sleek new line for women for Spring 2018! Now, let’s talk about the beauty at Ford’s fashion show! MAKEUP The great Pat McGrath took the creative reins on this one and designed a rounded glittery black cat eye! Out with the sharp feline flicks and now, in with a more low-key spherical wing! She called the look “slightly dangerous, but very expensive.”

HAIR To go with Ford’s structured and sharp designs, celebrity hairstylist Orlando Pita created an androgynous wispy pixie cut! Pita said, that “Tom wanted to cut all of the girls’ hair off”, fortunately, with Pita’s expertise scissors were not needed and instead, an illusion of shorter hair was created with texture and pins!

CALVIN KLEIN Drawing inspiration from America’s wild west, Raf Simons created a line that wanted to break the creative restraints of the fashion sphere and be more innovational like the film and TV industry! Allow us now to review Calvin Klein’s hair and makeup! MAKEUP Another beautiful creation from Pat McGrath, Calvin’s show opted more of a natural look with a subtle soft brown smoky eye and groomed brows. To brighten up the eyes, inner corners were highlighted and waterlines were lined with white liner. The entire look was achieved with McGrath’s new palette: Mothership I Subliminal Eye Palette!
