Engagement Shoot

Couples who Lift Together, Stick Together!

These days, love can be found in so many places, from online to the supermarket to the gym. The latter is where our beautiful couple, Matt Orchard and Nicci Backman work on their muscles together - SO CUTE! Matt and Nicci celebrated their engagement in peach, baby blue and gold - a far cry from the neon lights and stainless steel of the gym. Since Matt and Nicci are no ordinary couple, they couldn't just have an ordinary venue for their engagement celebrations. This is why we chose Flower Temple, a florist with the most gorgeous interiors we have ever seen. The room was FILLED with endless buckets of flowers and foliage. By the end of the day, we all wanted to be florists! The lovely Liz from Flower Temple filled out our dessert bar with roses, orchards and cotton flowers. Speaking of desserts, Cherry Cakes created a seemingly endless array of delicious treats. Matt and Nicci were treated to fried doughnuts, cupcakes complete with peach-shaped macarons and a Funfetti cake. We cannot forget to mention the two-tiered masterpiece of chocolate stout cake, decorated with a cascade of fresh flowers. The perfect accompaniment for a glass of bubbles from Chandon! Lune Twelve boosted the desserts with acrylic risers in white and gold, held up the custom signage from Amy DSigns reading "Just Peachy" with their gold geometric pillar, as well as providing the crowning jewel - a crystal tiara that we're still dreaming about. Make It Pretty lived up to her name and decked out Flower Temple with a balloon installation extravaganza. In colours of soft peach and baby blue, these balloons highlighted the dessert table and adorned the dinner table. Memphis Hire muscled in a beautiful dining table, gold flatware, peach linen napkins and martini glasses. There would have definitely been no party without them! Nicci was painted and pampered by Ellie from Inglot Cosmetics with hair styled by Amy from Wiselmann for Schwarzkopf Professional. In terms of wardrobe, Daniela's Boutique provided the most beautiful dusty pink mermaid-style dress, fit for this momentous occasion. Sky-high heels were adorned by Nicci from The Pump Stop By GKN. Happy Wedding planning Nicci and Matt!
