Kids Llama Party

Kids Llama Party

A WHOLE LOT OF LLAMA FUN!

Another year older? No prob-llama! Here at OIP HQ, we are pom-pom mad over llamas! We love them so much it would only be fitting to create a styled shoot for a kid’s birthday party based on this kooky character. From Llama themed cakes to decor, it all came together beautifully and was such a fun shoot to put together for our lovely followers!

To celebrate Leni’s birthday, we created a fun and intimate birthday setting for her and her two besties, Jamie and Gwen (Thanks to Casting Kids!) Under the canopy of magical and colourful streamers by Bangin Hangins, The Studio Melbourne was transformed into a wonderland of colour and fun! Tiwilly Jo’s provided us the cutest furniture, from chairs, tables to cake stands, which was then adorned with handmade pom poms and tassels from the ever so talented Tayla Bow, who also made the amazing wall hanging for the dessert station. The invites, birthday cards, placemats, wrapping paper, “pin the saddle on the Llama” and super adorable “Adopt a Llama” birth certificates were designed by Two Little Ducklings and were the cutest addition to our creative concept. After all that adopting and partying the kids lounged around and hung out in the coolest “Snow Dust” teepee from Cattywampus, which we decorated with more pom poms and llama inspired cuteness to tie our theme together.

But who can forget the desserts!? Cakes by Sal hit it out of the llama pen with her designs, not one, or two – but THREE birthday cakes! A two-tiered geometric monster of a cake, a llama head cake (unicorn heads are so 2017!) and a classic white cake adorned with the cutest llama cookies and llama themed cake toppers by our favourite Kiki Sprinkles. And if that wasn’t enough, there were also cacti themed cupcakes and more llama themed cookies!

The little party animals were also adorned with the coolest threads to hit the playground, dressed by the premium label Sudo and the cutest pairs of shoes from Walnut, these kids were ready to party with no prob-lamas! We hope that you were inspired by this shoot as we had such a blast organising and executing! A big thank you to all of the vendors who we worked with on this one, and hope you all have a llamazing day! Llots of Llove – Team OIP.
