Our dear Astra is always the “Life of the Party” – the party planner, the one who organises all the pretty details, the one who brings everyone and everything together. Today, on her birthday party, it was our turn to celebrate Astra and spoil her with everything she loves: good tea, great friends, and yummy desserts (lots of them!).
Astra’s gorgeous cake and ice cream cake pops, created by the the lovely Katherine Sabbath, complemented by Chef A’s scrumptious gum ball topped marshmallow cupcakes, captured Astra’s sweet, quirky, and colourful personality. And those little pastel Candy Heart cookies by Denin of Spoon & Fork Sydney are just oozing with LOVE and cuteness.
Our white wooden trestle table was the perfect setting for Astra's Sweet Pastel dessert table making the colourful desserts and pastel cake stands pop. The candy coloured paper honeycomb backdrop was a lot of fun and the tassel buntings brought the party to life. Our favourite item on the table was the mini pink ice cream cart which Astra painted herself - it was the perfect way to serve those out of this world ice cream cake pops.Happy Happy Birthday Astra! Enjoy all the sweet things in life. Now you can have your cake and eat it too!
